To help us to learn more about unfamiliar services and companies, especially when it comes to web hosting, reviews can go a long way in helping to make a decision. It’s important to be aware of the background of any web hosting company you plan to do business with, whether they’re new to the scene or have been around a while.
Whether you want to put up a large e-commerce web site, or a small business site, it’s important that you do your research. There are many different types of web hosting review sites, many that claim to give the best, most thorough or objective reviews available online for the many different hosting services that are available online.
You may find that some of these hosting review web sites are quite large and have hundreds or thousands of reviews of web hosting businesses. Often websites like this usually have a large staff complete with customer service and support who regularly update the web site with new reviews and links. It’s important for these review web sites to maintain their image by keeping everything fresh and current without doing anything to tarnish the web site’s image.

Web hosting is something that many online businesses struggle with at some point. Who do you choose? What do you look for? What features do you need? Etc. Etc.
All of those questions have been answered over and over in many articles on many websites, so what I’m going to address in this article is when enough is enough and you need to make the move from a shared hosting plan to a dedicated one.
Anyone who’s just starting out in internet marketing can easily get by with a shared web hosting plan, where your website is hosted by a third party on their server along with hundreds of thousands of other websites. This is something that’s seemingly simple, but extremely powerful. Luckily it’s something I learned, and a mindset which I developed, before I started up my first offline business years ago, or I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Here’s the gist of it: Work on your business, not in it. That’s it.
Here’s an example:
Let’s say that you’re a painter by profession. If you’re working in your business, that means you’re going out everyday and painting whatever it is that you paint and when you return home, you’re working on things like book keeping and equipment cleaning That hardly leaves any time for marketing, hiring, firing, training and in general, getting more business to earn more profits.

About a year and a half ago I contacted a decently successful internet marketer with a proposal for a new product I was launching. I don’t want to give away the niche, so we’ll call it _______.
Their answer was, “What the hell is _______? I’ve never heard of it!” I replied, surely you’ve heard of _______? It’s been out for months and is a wildly successful technique used by many marketers.
In a sentence, their answer was that they don’t pay attention new fads or trends and stick to the tried and true online marketing techniques.

One thing I’ve always found helpful is when other internet marketers or online business people share some of the links and resources to websites, service providers, software and information that they use on a regular basis.
The following is a partial list of some of the websites, services and more which I use or visit on a regular basis. I have hundreds of sites bookmarked and will sort through them and update this list on a semi-regular basis… so bookmark this page and check back often.
I hope you find it helpful
